What are the main characteristics of deep groove ball bearings?
Deep groove ball bearings are simple in structure and easy to use. They are the most widely used type of bearings with the largest production batch. It is widely used in automobiles, household appliances, machine tools, motors, pumps, agricultural machinery, textile machinery and many other fields. Its output accounts for more than 70% of the total output of bearings. It is the most widely used and inexpensive type of bearings in China.
Compared with other types of bearings with the same size, deep groove ball bearings have smaller friction coefficient, lower vibration and noise, higher limit speed and higher precision, and are the preferred bearing type for user selection. However, this kind of bearing is not shock resistant and is not suitable to bear heavy loads.
The inner and outer raceways of deep groove ball bearings are circular deep grooves, and the radius of grooves is slightly larger than that of spheres. Mainly used to bear radial load, but also can withstand certain axial load. When the radial clearance of the bearing increases, it has the function of angular contact ball bearing, which can bear large axial load and is suitable for high-speed rotation. Bearing can still work normally when the shell hole and shaft are inclined 8'-16', but the service life of the bearing is affected. The thrust ball bearings can be used to bear pure axial load when the rotating speed is high and thrust ball bearings are not suitable.
